Christmas Fun

We have had some fun for Christmas. We decorated the tree, went to see Temple Square lights, made gingerbread houses, and had lots of fun. Maheone also got a parakeet, she has been saving her money for awhile now and finally had enough to buy the cage, food, toys, and bird.

Thanksgiving

We went to Delta to spend Thanksgiving at my sisters house. My sister has 6 kittens and the kids loved to play with them. Moienah loved to drag them around, and call them her babies. We went Wednesday morning and stayed until Friday. On Wednesday night we went out to a place called Joy which used to be a town, you can still see the foundations of the houses. We built a fire and roasted hot dogs and marshmellows. On Thursday we cooked and had a wonderful dinner, lots of good food. Eric and some of the kids rode horses. The boys loved riding the four wheelers around. They also had bought a basketball game which I think everyone enjoyed playing.

On Friday we drove over to Blanding and spent time with Eric's family, which is always fun. Played cards late into the night. We also did a relay in rememberance of the Sandcreek massacre victims.

Electronic Park

Jazz Game

In Layton there is an electronic park. All the play equipment has some sort of video game hooked up to it. The idea is to get kids more active since we live in a video game world. My kids love this park they could play for hours there. It happens to be close to where my kids play volleyball and basketball so they get to play there frequently. The girls just got done playing volleyball which Nika loved and Maheone hated. We now have 3 kids in basketball so that keeps us pretty busy. This Thanksgiving month is going by fast. I am thankful for my great husband and all my beautiful children, I am also thankful for Eric's job which allows him to work from home so that we can live by family. I am thankful for my friends.
This month we also got to go to a jazz game, the kids get to go for jr. jazz. Hatosh's team didn't have very many going so they gave me and Eric a ticket, so we took Hatosh down to the game. The girls went with their teams to the game.

Halloween

We had a great Halloween. We invited family and friends to come over and go trick or treating together. Our family tradition is to make clam chowder and chicken noodle soup for dinner and then have lots of snack foods to eat. This year the kids had fun choosing and finding things for their costumes. Navitt was a grim ripper or something like that, Maheone was a character from Digimon that became a vampire, Nika was a devil, Hatosh a mad scientist, Moke was spider man, and Moienah was a butterfly. I was a dark fairy. I love Halloween and love to dress up.

Kids

I took the kids over to a park for a picnic and time together. It was fun but we all got cold so we didn't stay to long. The kids also love to jump on the trampoline, since Moke broke his leg on the tramp I am always nervous, but the kids love it. I love to watch my kids interact with each other and to see the bonds that they are building. I hope that I can give them lots of great memories. I have decided that this life is about the people we love, and making the most of every day that we have with those loved ones.

We went to Delta to visit my sister, the kids had fun riding their 4 wheelers all over the farm. It was our last summer trip before school started.

Summer

I can't believe how fast time goes, Nika turned 10 yesterday. I love her beautiful smile and the joy that she brings to our family. Eric also hooked our camera up to the telescope and got a cool picture of the moon.

Summer Fun

So we have had a lot of fun so far this summer, we went to a Bees game, camping, to Lagoon, fishing, and lots of other fun adventures.

Rainbows

It is amazing to me how many beautiful rainbows I have seen this summer. I love rainbows. We were driving home the other day and we saw an amazing rainbow, the girls took some pictures as we were driving and I thought I would share some of them. The pictures don't do the rainbows justice, but they were very nice.
