For spring break we went to Oregon to hang out with my sister and her family. It was so beautiful. It reminded me of Northern California. The kids had fun seeing the sites. We went up to the Tillamook Factory, we saw a light house, and watched some whales. We went to the beach on Easter Sunday, it was a nice day for the beach. It was a great spring break. Loved spending time with my family.

Life

We took the kids skiing and snowboarding, they loved it. Momo didn't want to leave she could ski all day and night.

Grandma made hats for all the grandkids for christmas.

Life is busy, the older my kids get the more on the go we are. Life is good, it is fun to see my kids grow into teenagers. I can't believe how fast time goes by, kids grow so fast. I need to make sure to cherish each moment with these precious kids.

March Birthdays & Antelope Island

Eric's family got together to celebrate all the birthdays in March. It was really fun, the kids had a blast swimming all day. It was fun to relax and enjoy the day. Moienah got a new ballerina swimsuit and loved wearing it, she danced around saying she was Angelina ballerina. The older kids loved sitting in the hot tub, and the older girls tried out the sauna room for awhile.

We also took a family day to Antelope Island. It was really cold and windy, but the kids still had fun.

Haircut

My baby turned 3 on Christmas day, I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Yestarday I finally gave her a hair cut, she had hair in her eyes all the time, and the back was in need of trimming. I think it turned out pretty cute but she looks so grown up now.

Christmas Lights

I love the Christmas season, I love the smells, the sights, the sounds of Christmas. I love going to look at lights. I remember being young and we would go out and look at lights every year, I loved it. We took our kids up to see the Ogden lights this week, and they were spectacular, they have little houses with neat decorating on the inside, they have Santa's house, the kids were excited to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas. We got to ride on a train and look at all the lights. It was worth driving up to see, we truly enjoyed it. I can't wait to take my kids out to see more lights.

Thanksgiving

Our family went down to Blanding to be with Eric's family for Thanksgiving, we had a lot of fun. We are so very Thankful for our family's and the blessing they are in our lives. We are thankful that Eric has a job that allows us to live close to family. As a child I was not very close to my relatives and would see my friends with their cousins and wish that I was closer to mine. I have always wanted my kids to have close relationships with their cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. I was worried that they would not be very close with us living in California, so four years ago we decided to ask Eric's boss if he could telecommute for work and live in Utah so that we could be closer to family. His boss said yes, we bought a house and moved back. I have never once regretted that decision, especially when I see my children with the extended family and the memories they are making every day. I am sooo thankful for my children and the joy that they bring to my life. I am thankful for a wonderful husband and that he is my best friend.

Summer Fun

I can't believe this is the last weekend before school starts, we have had so much fun this summer that it has flown by. We took the kids camping, to Lagoon, hiking, and to hang out with family. The kids are looking forward to school starting. I can't believe I will have two kids in jr. high. Where does the time go? It seems like they were just born and now I will only have one home during the day.

Summer Fun

So this summer seems to be flying by, I can't believe it is already July. Navitt went to scout camp and Mehoene went to girls camp. We have gone to Lagoon several times, the kids love Lagoon. We went hiking up Adams Canyon to the waterfall up there, and we also hiked up the doughnut hole falls trail in Big Cottonwood canyon.
The kids have played with friends and had a really good summer so far. We got to see some of our good friends from California when they came out here to drop there son off at the MTC.
We have also made fires and done s'mores for family night.
I got to go to day camp with Hatosh as his bear den leader. It was really fun. I think that we have had a busy and fun summer and I am looking forward to the rest of summer.

For Memorial weekend we went to Lame Deer, Montana. It was so much fun, the kids had a blast seeing all their relatives and playing with all the cousins. We were supposed to camp out in Eric's uncles backyard but with the pouring rain we ended up staying in these cabins that a nice family offered for us to use.
While we were there we got to see Eric's cousin Shannlyn graduate from high school, which is why we all went in the first place. It was fun to get to see so much family.
Our dog was loving getting to run free all day. It was fun to go see the land that Eric's family lived on when he was little. Eric got to try catching horses that had not been broke, alas he had no luck catching one.
It was so green and beautiful up in Montana. On the way up to Montana we stopped at a park to let the kids play for awhile. They had a teeter-totter at the park and the kids were playing on it, Eric went over to play too, and was popping the kids up high. When Nika was on it Eric popped her up and she didn't have a good grip and flipped off hitting her face into the metal bars of it. The whole right side of her face swelled up and bruised, it looks bad, luckily it is beginning to look better. We got home around 2 am on Tuesday and so only 2 of my kids got up and went to school. Oh well it is the last week of school. It was a great trip.
