Little House on the Prarie Day for Nika

Nika's class did a little house on the prarie day. They got to dress up and do lots of pioneer games. They sewed a button on a piece of material, milked a cow, roped a bull, washed clothes on a washboard, learned some dances, and many more fun things. I went over and helped for the last hour of the day. It was pretty fun.

Memorial Weekend

We went to Blanding for Memorial weekend. It was a lot of fun. Volleyball, softball, basketball, and tennis were played down there. We also hiked to West Water and went in a cave. The kids thought that was pretty fun. It was fun having the whole family together. It is great seeing all the cousins play together.

Maheone's 10 Birthday

Maheone celebrated her 10 birthday on the 21 of May. She opened gifts in the morning, I checked her out of school a little early and took her to get her hair cut. She got some layers added to her hair and it looks really cute. We had spaghetti for dinner. Her softball game was cancelled and so we went to see Iron Man at the theaters. It was a pretty good movie. We took her friend Elise with us to the movie. I think she had a pretty good day.

Nikanahan's School Performance

Nikanahan's second grade class held a performance Thursday May 15. They sang songs and looked very cute. Nika got to hold the flag during the pledge. They sang songs about money and the country and all sorts of different things.

Mokesaut's broken leg

We went on Wednesday the 7 of May to have a cast put on Mokesaut. he did really well, no crying at all. When the doctor asked him what color cast he wanted he replied that he wanted black, I was very surprised. When the nurse came back to ask him what color he decided red. He said it was the color of spider man. He is learning to get around hopping on his good foot, or crawling and dragging the cast behind him. It doesn't seem to bother him to much.

Cousins

We got together with Eric's family this past weekend for Gwen's graduation. The kids love to play with their cousins. Mokesaut broke his leg this same weekend. He was jumping on the tramp and I guess he landed wrong, we are taking him to a orthopedic doctor to have it casted. He can't walk so we have to carry him everywhere.
We love to hang out with family.

Eric's soccer

Eric is playing soccer with a league this season. He has a game almost every Saturday. With the kids in baseball/softball and Eric in soccer we are very busy. We took the kids to one of his Saturday games and it was fun watching him play. Eric is the player in yellow. They don't have their team uniforms yet, but they should have them soon. His team is the orange shirt team.
