New Mexico

I took Moke and Mo-Mo down to see their new baby cousin, we rode with my sister in law and her two boys. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins and enjoying the nice warm sun in New Mexico. The new baby is so little and sweet. Eric stayed home and took care of the older four kids, getting them to school and all their various activities. It was a nice little vacation. I was supposed to go for two weeks, but decided to come home after one so that I could be at Navitt's school meeting. i rode home with my mother in law. Eric and Maheone came down to Blanding t pick us up. It was great to go home and see the older kids.

Snowboarding

So for Eric's birthday we decided to take the 4 older kids snowboarding. Eric took them up a hill and helped them get ready to go down. When Hatosh and Nika got to the bottom they were ready to be done snowboarding for the day. Luckily Eric found a very small hill and took them on that so by the end of the night they loved snowboarding and were talking about when we will be going back.

Navitt & Mokesaut Birthday

My oldest child turned twelve this month, it is crazy how fast time goes. It seems like yesterday he was a little baby. Navitt is a very loving and kind boy. He is always willing to help and I love him so much.
Moke also had a birthday, I can't believe how much he has grown up. It is amazing how great a kid he is. Moke is always ready to make everyone smile. I love him very much.
I can't help but look at my two boys and think how lucky I am to have these great kids in my life. They are such a joy to watch and to be around. I am thankful for the joy that they bring to my life.

Swim Lessons

The kids had their last day of swim lessons today, they all did really well. Moke did not want to swim for his last class, but as soon as the teacher showed him the suckers she had got him he was ready to jump in. I think all the kids really enjoy swimming.
After swim lessons I ran the girls down to Salt Lake for their moccasins class. They have been going to classes which help show them how to make their whole regalia for fancy shawl dancing. They have finished their shawls and are now making moccasins. They really enjoy going to the class.

Moon

Eric loves to go out and look at the sky at night. This is the halo that you can see around the moon on some winter nights. I think it is pretty amazing. We love to take the kids out and have them look through the telescope and see the stars and all the other wonders of the night sky.

New Years

So we decided to go to Blanding for the new years party. We headed down on new years eve. Maxcene had reserved the church and so we ate dinner, played pictionary, and volleyball until midnight, we then went to the parking lot and lit some fireworks. It was a lot of fun. We had let each of the kids draw a cousin to buy a gift for and we opened those gifts on new years day.
We played lots of volleyball and just had fun while we were down there. We also had our white elephant gift exchange. It is great being with family, and I wish we all lived closer together so that we could get together more often.
I can't believe it is already 2009, time flies. My kids are growing up so fast, it is crazy to think that Navitt will soon be 12.
